Marriage of the Manifest and the Unmanifest

We are the marriage of the manifest and the unmanifest

Life itself is the union of the manifest, impermanent, ever changing phenomenality

and the unmanifest, permanent, unchanging non phenomenality

This sacred marriage reveals what appears to be two – as one beloved whole.

There is only unity, in truth.

All creation dances in the absolute, pure silence of being which is beyond words or concepts.

If we look at the Trinity through this lens

The Father is the absolute, unmanifest, permanent, unchanging non phenomenality.

The Beloved Son represents the manifest impermanent ever changing phenomenality

No separation.

Indivisible unity

As Jesus says – ‘I and the Father are one’. John 10:31

Yet the spiritual leaders of the day wanted to stone him for this statement

‘for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.”  John 10:33

Yet he is one with God.  Are we one with God also?

Could that be true?  Is that blasphemy?

I AM in you

Let us look to what Jesus says:

‘On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you‘. John 14:20

Are we not one with Christ in truth?  Is that not True Self realisation?

Not as an individual ego, not as the separate self – that would be arrogance and indeed blasphemy

As the indivisible one True Self, the original Self, the spirit of God.

The false personal talk and selfish negative thoughts are seen through for simply what they are – passing impermanent insignificant clouds, the the sky of awareness.

Passing clouds do not interfere with the radiance of the sun

Thoughts that claim attention and importance can be deceiving.  Appear enticing, can become addictive.  They can enslave our time, attention and belief, rooted in ego and separation.

This ‘deceiver’ can be simply turned away from however, and the attention can rest in the True Self instead.

Truth is revealed like the radiant power of the sun

There is a rewiring in the being, a transformation in the heart

This transformation can be described as being ‘born again’

“unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”  John 3:3

Not equal to God, but in harmony with the divine that permeates every thing and every one – no separation.

Is that what Jesus was pointing to?

‘And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.’ 2 Corinthians 3:18

The Holy Spirit referred to also in the Trinity is the empowering creator spirit of God, present before creation.  ‘Ruakh’ is one name for this life giving spirit.

Formless, timeless, sacred and true, bringing life and light and love out of darkness and decay.

Permeating all forms

Awakening to Spirit

Buddha means ‘awake’

Is this what Buddha was pointing to also, wrapped in different language?  Different words but same timeless, essential truth and peace?  Christ light, Buddha nature.
Can we liken this heart transformation to enlightenment or awakening referred to in Buddhism?

The manifest could not exist without the unmanifest reality, ‘the Lord’s glory’

There is only one reality

One God, One Lord supreme, called by many names.

The manifest world, we could say, is appearing as an extension of the consciousness we are

All of creation continually pours out from this loving timeless, infinite source – the womb of existence

All is One

Al ham du lillah

“Praise be to God”

Alleluia Amen

Om Namah Shivaya   “O salutations to the auspicious one!”
