Do Not Touch Duality

Do not touch duality.  Could this possibly be one important meaning within the story of the Garden of Eden, in the Bible?  To remain with God in innocence.  To not be tempted in this present moment, to eat from the fruits of the tree that divides and separates this world into good and evil, light and dark, wise and ignorant etc.  Out of oneness comes two and many.
We could say there is no good and evil – essentially.  What?  Surely good and evil we see in ‘the world’ playing out, don’t we?  Well yes – it would appear so, but perhaps these opposites do not actually exist in truth –  only in relative dualistic thought that appears to be real.
‘Good’ and ‘evil’ are labels in the mind that appear and play out in the great theatre of consciousness.  This cosmic unfolding can be called ‘Maya’. In Advaita Vedanta, or in the Hindu tradition.  Maya is “the powerful force that creates the cosmic illusion that the phenomenal world is real.”  In this nondualist school, Maya is the source of ignorance which causes the finite, empirical ego to be mistaken for the infinite Self.  So within this field of cosmic illusion – the opposites of ‘good’ and ‘evil’ can be understood, imagined, projected and even identified with – and can appear very real and convincingly tangible.  The concepts good and evil can be believed in so strongly that they can even create wars, but essentially these terms and labels are conceptual and evanescent.  What does this mean?  They are vanishing.

As is everything that is impermanent.

Only the permanent is true, only the real is ever present and full of grace.  Only God IS

God doesn’t even ‘exist’!  Yet God IS

Why to suggest God is not ‘existing’?  Because to ‘exist’ means to ‘stand out’ and anything that stands out can also stand down or retreat.  Any thing that rises can also fall and decay.  The Lord cannot decay.  Divinity is deathless, imperishable and unconquerable.  Invisible, ineffable and infinite.  In essence God is not a thing!  Yet paradoxically permeates every thing!  Both transcendent and imminent.

God cannot be bought on the ‘Internet of things’!  All that arises and will perish in His silence and grace.
This divinity is the True Self in each and every being, discovered when the false self no longer enslaves the being, by the grace of God.

In Romans 6:4 it says ‘We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.  For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him’.

This simple powerful natural truth can be recognised, realised and radiated.  Christ was and is a living transmission of this one True Self.  He recognised this is his true nature.  I AM what is true.
‘ I am the truth ‘ says Jesus.  Not as a person (I me) – but as the presence of God (I AM) which is the substratum of all LIFE

Romans 8:6  ‘For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace’.

Yet often it seems,  we still insist on the separation that says He alone is that truth – not myself.  This is a subtle refusal of the oneness, of the unity with the supreme.
Therefore keeping oneself separate from God.  Divided, cut off.  Separated from ‘the true vine’.  Whereas in actuality we are not separated, we are never apart from the love of God and the living presence of the absolute, the Father, the God Self.
Perhaps the ‘second coming’ is the realisation that all along Jesus and indeed all awakened sages who point to this simple truth call you to follow, eat, digest, assimilate this truth and love it and become it and wake up to the fact that there is only God, there is only unity.
Yes creation is diverse and this diversity is wonderful, sacred, unique, colourful and individual but every single atom and creature of creation comes from the source, is permeated with the source and returns to the source.  The sunstratum of all is the divine.  In and AS this Holy Spirit of God – we are truly one.

Fish are so saturated in water they don’t see that it IS.
Humans are so saturated in the spirit of God they don’t see that it IS.

Here is a beautiful meditation from Mooji to realise the True Self   ‘Pure awareness, I AM’

Try not to be awareness
Try not to be consciousness
Is it possible?

Be this awareness

Do not touch duality.

Remain as one with God.  Amen Alleluia.

Om Shanti Shanti.
