Words are only Signposts – YOU are Truth
Using words to speak of truth is never adequate as words are limited.
Words are only signposts. They point to the truth but are not actually truth and can never adequately describe the ineffable mystery that is the essence of life itself.
In a sense true knowledge is unknowing.
When there is an absence of worldly knowledge and intention – true knowing can be discovered – but it does not belong to anyone!
If we talk about the True Self it can create the idea of an apparent seeker that thinks it is apart from that True Self, trying to get to it. But this seeker is the very identity that veils the True Self!
I have heard Mooji speak of this many times as the thumbnail that appears to ‘cover the sun’.
We are SO BLESSED to have Mooji’s guidance here with us. He is such a powerful transmission of pure grace. In this talk he points out that grace ‘ignites the search’ and the lie ‘becomes unbearable’. This search itself ‘turns into LOVE’
When the arrogance of personhood is dropped the search ‘will become beautiful’ (Mooji)
Seekers inevitably are drawn to listen to sacred scriptures, gurus and guides. But all the time grace is driving this search.
As the ‘destination’ is discovered or unveiled, it is realised that there was never a ‘journey’ in reality, and not even a journeyer!
There is only the one sacred, undivided source.
No thing appearing as every thing
Be that
Actually we have never not been the ‘True Self’ – we have just imagined we are a separate ego. Through this apparent search the unreality of this ego is exposed. What a joy!
We are Life, we are Truth, BUT can we see, acknowledge and admit such a miraculous revelation?
Put simply
Mooji says ‘What is heaven? A silent and empty mind.’
‘It could be said that the real spiritual journey
is from the head to the Heart.
However, the Heart does not know any
distance or journeys.
It is only the head that imagines such things
as journeys, trips, tricks and traps.
And I am so happy when one sees
that one’s true Self
has always been perfectly happy,
peaceful and complete.
It is the greatest mystery in the world,
but I wonder … for whom?’ Mooji
