Transcend fear by Overcoming the world
Many people at this time are self isolating to prevent the further spread of Corona Virus. Some people have fear about the virus and this of course is understandable. These are very challenging times for many people
However this really is also a wonderful opportunity to be in retreat from the world! A real chance to contemplate deeper what you really are here for in this life and to awaken to the peace and silence and rest of your own true being.
This awakening to spirit is practical!
Neti Neti
If we fully realise we are not the body, we are not the mind, we are not anything phenomenal because all that is phenomenal (or observable) comes and goes. Objects, feelings, thoughts are all observable from a deeper seeing. We are not an object essentially, we are not our feelings or thoughts. This can be referred to as ‘Neti, Neti’ (sanskrit)
Rupert Spira explains Neti Neti here.
We witness the coming and going of everything but there is a presence that is always here
We are the formless awareness that never comes or goes. We are free and home.
Overcome the world
We are beyond this realm – this is perhaps what Jesus means when he refers to overcoming this world in John 16:33
We can realise we are one with the one infinite spirit of God from which all phenomena is born and eventually dies
We are in harmony with the deathless realm
We are free happy and at peace!
We are consciousness and Life
Life itself cannot die
All fear of death dissolves in this realisation
Death is only for the form and we are the formless indivisible one, in truth
‘What watches fear?’
Mooji says ‘what watches fear? Is that afraid?’ in this profound answer to a letter from someone in Hong Kong during the Corona Virus outbreak
Unbound and Free
‘When you finally let go of who you believe yourself to be and all concepts are abandoned entirely, your beautiful presence of emptiness can be realised at once. Emptiness isn’t the emptiness that one might imagine, for in truth, it lacks no- thing. To be empty is to be filled with absolute and infinite potentiality, which is the essential essence of your true Self.
You are this emptiness; an absolute presence of blissful nothingness, unbound and free’ (Zen thinking)
