The light is here in your heart – the light of this world, the one True Self

Oh brothers and sisters – I am here with you speaking words of love, light and universal truth.  Not my words, but words springing from a joy in my heart, inspired by grace to share.

The world is waking up!  What is the world waking up to?

Well – the timeless one, the unknowable one, the natural source of all life beyond the concepts of these things,  Peace, love and the joy of true freedom!

We have been taught haven’t we, to value knowledge and concepts and yes – they are valuable and can be beautiful and embued with wisdom!  All is included here, all is one.

Knowledge and the mind can be a truly amazing tool, thoughts can be empowering and enlightening.   Also at some point we come to see that our minds or our thinking can become constricted, caught in negative loops which seem to create suffering.  Our mental outlook is undoubtedly conditioned and coloured by our particular culture, gender, religion, group identity and individual personal identity (ego!).  At some point in our lives, something calls us to look deeper IF we are drawn to what is true about who we are and what this life is truly all about.

Something starts pulling us through some sort of threshold (perhaps because life seems to start falling apart and not going MY way?) calling us to look beyond the ‘normal’ mind patterns we have developed over the years and says:

‘REALLY – what is this LIFE all about?  Who am I?  Is it just that getting material things and getting qualifications and a good job and going on holiday with my family and friends is enough?  Is it that I am this body/mind conditioning or is there something more and vaster and more spacious and loving and amazingly ALIVE to discover?’

What are we waking up to?  Where is the real peace that we seek?

Is it possible that the words of St Francis of Assisi are true?  ‘What you are looking for IS what is looking.’

Could it be that all sages and instruments of truth and prophets of the divine source.  Could it be that Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Mohammed, Moses, Mooji, Ananda Mayi Ma, Adyashanti all were pointing to the same universal truth?  Is this what Ghandi saw when he said

Could it be that the imperishable, unchanging, eternal, peaceful, loving, empty, full, unconquerable, pure light of awareness is our own True Self?

Is this what Jesus means my friends when he says ‘You are the light of the world’?

Blessings of peace, love and light dear friends
